How We Serve

The South Winnipeg Seniors Resource Council (SWSRC) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to increase the independence and well-being of older adults living within our community. Established in 1994 and incorporated in 1995, SWSRC provides services in South Winnipeg to the areas of Charleswood (R3P), Crescentwood (R3M), Fort Rouge (R3L), Lord Roberts (R3L), Osborne Village (R3L), River Heights (R3M), Riverview (R3L), and Tuxedo (R3N).

Through our Resource Coordinator and community partners, SWSRC’s mission, plans and vision  are realized through outreach to older adults and their care givers within our geographic area.  We are committed to building community capacity and empowering older adults in South Winnipeg to maintain independence and increase quality of life through referral to a variety of services and programs.
